GROUP THERAPY

Group Sessions

Group therapy brings together individuals who are experiencing similar challenges, such as anxiety, depression, unemployment, grief, or other life challenges.

Led by a qualified therapist, group sessions provide a supportive and confidential space where participants can explore their experiences, learn from one another, develop practical coping skills, and gain different perspectives on the challenges they are facing.

You do not have to navigate difficult experiences alone. Sometimes, hearing from others who are going through something similar can help you feel understood and less alone.

Is Group Therapy Right for You?

Group therapy may be a good option if you would like support from a therapist while also learning from the experiences of others facing similar challenges.

Before joining a group, we may ask you to complete a brief assessment. This helps us understand your needs and determine whether the particular group is appropriate for you.

If a group does not appear to be the best fit for your needs, we can discuss other support options with you.

Confidentiality and Group Expectations

Participants are expected to respect the privacy of other group members. What is shared within the group should remain confidential.

Participants are also expected to:

  • Respect different perspectives and experiences
  • Avoid judging or criticizing other participants
  • Give others an opportunity to speak
  • Maintain appropriate boundaries
  • Avoid recording or photographing group sessions
  • Respect the confidentiality of information shared by other members
