Emotional Support Space
Pick A T-Shirt
If life is hard for you right now and you’re feeling defeated, come and pick a t-shirt. You don’t have to solve all your problems today. If all you did was breathe and make it through the day, that’s enough. Keep going, keep pushing. Things will get better.
Life is complex and seasons change. In one season, you may be doing well in most aspects of your life and feeling happy and proud of your achievements. In another season, you may be feeling stuck and confused and you may need support to get you from where you are to where you want to be. In a different season, you may be dealing with a tragedy and struggling to cope. In another season you may be experiencing anxiety, emotional distress, depression, loss and grief, relationship challenges, addiction-related changes, trauma, dissatisfaction with your life, rejection, betrayal, disappointment, anger, chronic stress, burnout, low self esteem and self doubt, and other psychosocial challenges. Whatever season you’re in, you could use some words of encouragement, motivation, appreciation, acknowledgement, or hope. You’re welcome to pick a t-shirt that aligns with your current situation. You can always return and pick as many t-shirts as you’d like. Sometimes a message can put words to something you’ve been carrying for a long time.
If you feel that you would benefit from having a safe, professional space to explore what you’re experiencing, therapy can help. Ready to talk?
Strength

It may not feel like it, but you’ll get through this. You’ve done it before, and this time is no different. If you feel like isolating, please don’t. That only makes it worse. Try to spend time with your loved ones and find someone safe to confide in. Take it a day at a time. When the pressure becomes too much, breathe. 1,2,3 breathe. Remember to make your exhales longer than the inhales. Breathe as many times as you need until you feel better. You’ve got this!
Honoring Your Inner Child

For so many years, you lived your life prioritizing everyone and neglecting yourself. And that made everybody happy. They praised you, they appreciated you, but somehow along the way you lost touch with yourself. When the external voices went silent, your internal voices took over in an unbearable way. Spending time alone felt like an impossible task. And then one day you realized: You’re not happy. You’re just surviving.
Honoring your inner child means recognizing the parts of you that once felt unseen, unheard, uncared for, minimized, or unworthy. It means responding to these parts with the care and nurturing you never received. It means self soothing after a long day, setting healthy boundaries, prioritizing your needs, and caring for yourself in ways that feel fulfilling to you.
Surviving Difficult Thoughts/Overthinking

Note to future self: You survived the days when anxiety took over your thoughts and the battles you fought silently when no one could see what you were going through. You still carry the memories of those days, but they no longer define you. You made it through what once felt impossible, and that is something worth honoring. Your story is not only about what you endured. It is also about the courage and resilience it took to keep going.
If You Feel Defeated

You may feel defeated right now and wonder whether things will ever get better. I am here to let you know that this chapter of your life is not your whole story. There are still more moments to experience and possibilities you cannot see yet. What you are facing today does not have to determine where your story ends. Seek out support and find ways of The best is yet to come.
Nurturing Your Sense of Self

Your relationship with yourself is the most important relationship you’ll ever have. Therefore, it is important that you nurture it consistently. Know who you genuinely are when nobody is watching. What are your values? What type of relationships would you like to have? What are your non-negotiables? What do you enjoy doing? Do you know your personality? What are your strengths? What are your flaws? What are your goals? Are there areas of your life that you need to enhance?
It is best to refrain from forming your self identity based on everyone’s perception of you. If you don’t know who you are, best believe that people will tell you.
Self Love

You are the epitome of beauty. It is not only in the way you look, but the way you carry yourself and the joy that you add onto this world. You are enough just the way you are. Some people will understand you, others will misunderstand you. And that’s okay. People are entitled to their own opinions, and these opinions do not define who you really are. Find your tribe and make a conscious effort to consistently fill your cup. And if nobody has ever noticed your beauty, notice it yourself. Honor yourself by truly discovering who you really are and living a life that is aligned with your authentic self. BeYOUtiful.
